I’m on dial up - AKA video hell. Did you know some videos can take 20 to 30 minutes to load? And then I have to try to take notes with pause, rewind, start, stop buttons being used constantly.

Because I check email first thing in the morning, it can make me start my day off in a very foul mood. So now when I see there’s a video, I delete the email without even opening it to find out what it’s about.

I value the information you share with us. And I will not unsubscribe from your list.

But I really don’t have time to watch all the videos coming into my email every day. So I am unsubscribing from the marketers who have gone the all video route.

I have contacted a few of them and IMHO it feels like they just don’t care if they are making life miserable for dial up users. And if they don’t value our time why should we care about them?

Now I know YOU care about us - I don’t doubt that for a second.

And I appreciate that video is the wave of the future. But there are still a lot of places - yes even in the US - where we don’t have access to high speed internet yet.

So until we catch up with the future will you please offer your valuable information in both written and video format.
