While at TIMME II In Baltimore a few months back, I got to meet Tim Brocklehurst who really knows his stuff when it comes to list building. Time has put a few things out there about list building and all of them have really interested me, but his ListMission site really caught my attention because it was something I knew my readers could really learn from…
Today, I’ll be reviewing ListMission… Telling you what’s inside and why you don’t/do need it. Before I get started though, I want you to take just a few minutes and really read this review. ListMission could be that thing you’re looking for to build a profitable list, and it’s incredibly affordable… With that said, let’s get started….
We all know that things evolve. That’s just part of life. Most of you don’ t know it because you haven’t been online that long, but Internet marketing has evolved so fast and so abruptly that it’s even hard for me to keep up sometimes… For years everyone has gone around saying, your money is in your list…. How many times have you heard that? A lot I am sure. If you haven’t, let me go ahead and tell you… Your money is in your list! If you don’t listen to anything else I ever say, make sure you listen to that because it’s all too true…
So once everyone heard that the money was in the list, web pages started flying up giving this and that away to get people to subscribed. 90% of the free stuff was junk. Total junk… Along comes Mike Filsaime, and he teaches us to give things away but really over deliver, and then he gave birth to the Butterfly Marketing script which allows marketers to easily create a site where you can give something away in exchange for the visitors information. Wonderful concept… Except…. Everyone and their brother started doing it. Is it still working? You bet it is but you have to work REALLY hard to make it work…
Then a revelation came… (It really wasn’t a revelation… No one had gotten around to pointing it out actually.) The money wasn’t in the list you built by giving something away for free, it was in the list of people who had actually BOUGHT something. Holy moses… The money is in the BUYERS LIST. The list of people who buy something from you. That’s where the money is…
It’s called a profit funnel. You sell something rather inexpensive. Get a buyer on your list, and you hit them with higher end products and you funnel them through everything.
