Your Real Reviews page is excellent!
Unfortunately I have already signed up to the Promo code secrets programme before coming across your link. I`m pretty new to this sort of thing, but aside from the obvious positive effect the script in question can have, what I didn’t appreciate until AFTER signing up and making that initial payment, is that it is all totally useless to you (aside from a brief discussion as to the reasons people buy), unless you make a further investment or write your own script.
In my opinion, a little more clarity regarding this point would have been appropriate.

Hi Liz,
Thank you very much for the valuable information you have provided. I was very interested in promo code secrets, and as you recommend it so highly I went and bought it through your link, at least I thought I had!! After paying out the 10 dollars, I was taken to a page which informed me I really needed the programme to make use of the information I had just bought, and could get it for the discount price of 67 Dollars. This upset me very much, I think it was an unethical way to do business, I would much rather have been told the facts on the first page and bought the whole thing one time for 77 Dollars. Anyway I wanted the script so went to transfer money to my online account, when ooops away went the OTO page!! Now I was REALLY fed up. I sent an email to the owner Jordon asking if there was anyway I could still get the discount price. That was 4 days ago and still no reply.
With this in mind, might I suggest that when reviewing future offers no matter how good they are, you might consider checking on the way the product is marketed, and the quality of back up service they supply as part of the whole review. In my eyes, at least, this product was marketed in an underhand way, he has lost all credibility with me, and o.k he has my 10 Dollars, but I will never buy anything else from him again no matter how well it is reviewed or how good it might be.

Hi Liz,
I have to agree with the above comments. I am a newbie struggling, like many others, to get my business off the ground, and have become totally disillusioned with much of what happens on the net BUT I have come to trust and therefore, Read, anything that comes from Mike Steup. Naturally went to realproductreviews on Mike’s say so, paid my money happily only to find the whammy - product is useless without spending the additional $67. On principle I won’t do it, so I’ll just accept the experience cost me yet another $10. I’ve learnt the hard way about the amount of rip-offs and scams there are out there. I have largely weeded out the trash and only read the emails from people who have provided outstanding service and products.
So the biggest lesson I’ve learnt is that once you have your customer’s trust don’t ever abuse it by not checking out the quality - which includes honesty in presenting the product. Online or offline that is one of the major things that will make a business die or survive in the long run. I am just really sorry I didn’t read these comments before commiting - Mike said it was good, the review said it was good so off I went. I only clicked on the comments when I came back to the site to see if I had missed something in the review. Now there is no doubt that the product is good, will make us money, etc, etc (I did go and read your post on www.liztomey.com/ticked-off-about-promo-codes) and you have been terrific in trying to fix the problem by explaining and giving us a script.
You asked the question “What’s the Big Deal”. The big deal is the unethical and underhand marketing - not the cost or the product.
The bottom line is that many people will not take the trouble to come back to this site or go to your other one, they will just see it as a rip-off. Which, no matter how good the product is, is what people will remember. I will never buy any products of Jordon’s again.
Mike, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and keep reading your emails for now, but don’t let your people down again by associating yourself with such unethical marketing. In the end it is your reputation that is at stake.

Here’s the jist of this, and then I’ll comment no more about this…
1. I am known for bending over backwards and teach people to make money online. A lot of times for free. My time is becoming very limited so now I teach via my newsletter. I have NEVER and NEVER will mislead any of my customers no matter how much someone is willing to pay me. Meaning I will NEVER push a product I don’t believe in…
2. Everyone is pointing out what Jordan did was wrong…
Jordan offered a free gift for your email address which was a promo code to get the “Promo Code Secrets” manual for under $10. That IS a free gift.
However due to some server issues, people weren’t getting their promo code, so Jordan took at and put it at the top of his page. You did not HAVE to give your email address at that point.
The manual it’s self has some awesome information in it besides having to use the script. I’ll pay $10 over and over for information that will help me, and Jordan’s information helped me, so I will do business with Jordan again.
Now as for HAVING to have the $67 script to be ble to implement what Jordan was teaching… RUBBISH! It IS easier, but by being creative, you can do it, and I explained that above…
Take your blinders off, and see what is really being offered here. That’s part of business. If you sit and pick and whine, you’ll never succeed. If you take your knowledge and apply it, there is nothing holding you back.
Here’s a dare… I dare someone to take what they learned from Jordan’s product. Apply it without the script, and see what happens… I can tell you what will happen. If you do everything right and apply what you learned from the Promo Code Secrets manual, you WILL make money…
With all of that said, I love getting this kind of feedback. That’s why I have this blog. I have to manually approve comments because I get so much blog SPAM. I coud easily delete these comments, but I don’t because I enjoy hearing from all of you. This is my blog where I share my opinions, and just because my opinion might be different than yours doesn’t mean that I am trying to rip you off in any way. If you feel like I am out to rip you off, you evidently haven’t been on my list long enought to know that I am TOTALLY not that way, OR you are jaded by the whole making money online thing and you probably need to step back and take a breather…
